Why I built GlucoMax

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 20 years old. I'm 27 now. When I got diagnosed, I didn't know a single person who was diabetic. Neither of my parents are diabetic. Nobody in my close circle understood what I was going through. I felt completely alone.

The first few years were hard. I didn't know what I was doing. I'd wake up with high blood sugar and have no idea why. I'd eat the same meal two days in a row and get completely different glucose responses. I wore a CGM and an Apple Watch every single day, but no app ever connected the dots between my glucose and the rest of my health data.

So I decided to build the app I wish I had. GlucoMax is the tool I needed when I was 20 and scared and confused. It's for every diabetic who's tired of guessing.
